About Me

Hello and welcome to TruckDeets.com! My name is Jim and I’m a truck enthusiast.

Simply saying, I’m passionate about all things trucks and just about everything there I see on the open road.

But my true passion lies in the details of these magnificent machines called trucks and their engines.

I’ve been driving trucks for over 30 years and I’m currently retired. I started my blog, TruckDeets.com, as a way to share my passion and knowledge about these amazing machines with other like-minded individuals.

I grew up in the heartland of America and my first experience with trucks was when my dad would take me out on his farm to help him with his chores.

I remember vividly the first time I got behind the wheel of a truck – it was a feeling of power and freedom that I had never experienced before. From then on, I was hooked.

Throughout my career as a truck driver, I have driven all sorts of trucks, from 18-wheelers to dump trucks to delivery trucks. I have seen and experienced firsthand the importance of proper truck maintenance and care.

On my blog, TruckDeets.com, I write about different types of trucks, their engines, models, cleaning, and maintenance.

At Truck Deets I also share tips and advice related to troubleshooting and repairs – based on my own personal experiences.

Whether you’re a truck driver or just a truck enthusiast, I hope that you will find my blog useful and informative. Thanks for reading!
